Peregrine Network Inc Slingshot Communications Inc Slinshot Prepaid Internet now being called 2GoConnect by Peregrine. Greg Smith ready for ripoff round two! Scottsdale, Arizona
Here it goes again. Greg Smith the President of Slingshot (now being called Peregrine to avoid the thousands of consumers looking for them) has teamed up with others to form yet another prepaid internet scam. Instead of Slingshot they are calling the company Peregrine Networks and their new service www.2goconnect.com.
The funny thing is Sprint is backing their efforts again. Why would Sprint, the modem company Novatel or any other respectable company get involved with that guy again.
Greg Smith and his cronies must have got some sort of reward when he got David Vindici and GCS to drop the lawsuit against Sprint.
Arizona public records also reveal that Peregrine tried to go after Vindici with a restraining order but failed. Obviously Vindici knows something they want to keep quite.
I liked Vindici and felt bad when he left. He always returned my calls. He was definitely forced to leave. I think they simply broke his will to participate. His ideas and concepts were years ahead of their time. Now all the networks have some sort of prepaid plan. His company GCS purchased the original Slingshot (from Washington) which closed down and Vindici stepped in and returned service to all of the account holders at his expense.
I wonder if Peregrine under the direction of Gregory Smith will do the same. I doubt it but let's hope so! Otherwise, there will be thousands of more unsatisfied customers across the country.
I tried their customer support number several times (877-371-4071) and only get a recording. No one returns my calls. Maybe you will have better luck.
