I'll start by saying this dealerships doors should close. And, this is not the first car I've bought from a "dealership". I was sold a beautiful car regardless, but my process should not have went the way it did.
First, I had to discuss price with "David" the owner, over the phone. That was a huge red flag. Once mystery man and I figured out the numbers, his wife Lucile and I did the paperwork. This took over 2 hours. It was the day after New Years so I let that slide. Finally, I left with my new car and left my trade in behind.
Second issue, about a week later I got a call from Maria saying that I owed another 500 for taxes. I explained to her that the 500 I put down was for the PRICE OF THE CAR, not taxes. Just like any money you put down. Then tried to tell me it was for my current auto loan with Chase. Once I finally CORRECTED her, they had to overnight me a new contract because they admitted they messed up.
Third issue, another week or so later, I got a call from her saying that the finance company needed to re-verify my income. This was I believe 1-15-11. This process took around 5 days itself. Refaxing, calling, etc. Fourth, around 1-28-11 I called to ask where my tags and Reg were. They promised I would get them the following week. And of course they didnt come. I called the next week and was given another date. I believe the Wed before my temp tag ran out which was 2-7-12. Lucile, and Maria, who both should not be in the auto business at all gave me a constant run around.
They shouldn't be able to wash cars let alone sell them. And for the owner of the company, he should hire new people and start showing his face. The place is a disaster as well. There was a black Bmw in the "showroom", covered with wax. Do you think that's what people want to see when they step into your showroom? When you go to a dealer to buy a car you want to see friendly, upbeat, professional looking people. Home grown dealer or not. The nicest and most professional person at this place was the kid that helped me put my temp tag on, no joke, he was a nice guy.
There are horrible reviews for this place all over the internet, including here on Ripoff Report. To finish, I received my tags and Registration on...2-7-12, THE DAY THE TEMP EXPIRED. Absolute worst experience ever. Love my car, but it was horrible buying. I hope that people actually read this and reconsider buying anything from them. One day this place will be closed because of their poor, unprofessional, and just overall bad experience that they give their "customers."
