DriverAgent is a service that allows their software to scan your computer and help download updated drivers for the hardware that you have in your machine. After using this service successfully for a year, we renewed our subscription a few months ago.

Two months after we renewed our subscription, they changed their advertised service to limit the number of computers one account can be used on, to 10 machines.

Instantly we noticed that suddenly we had used our limit, despite the fact that there was NO limit when we paid for our year's subscription. Additionally, in order to impliment the limit, the driver agent client CLEARLY sends personally identifiying information back to driveragent's servers in order to keep track of which computers have been scanned. This may include, but certainly may not be limited to serial numbers, part numbers, and pc names. Highly unrelated to what's neccessary for the service. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING regarding this in their privacy policy, nor any terms that allow the number of PCs to be limited with or without notice.

To make matters worse, their support phone numbers which were working just a few weeks ago are no longer in service, I cannot get a hold of them, they've taken my money and run as far as I can see. They've disabled their website's login feature, so I cannot even use the service I've paid for.

I may have to sue.
