I just wanted to take a moment and share some information. I worked at pink Lime Calgary for 1 month and I would like to share my experience. This place was by far the dirtiest facility I have ever seen. The pedicure tools used were rarely cleaned between clients and if so they were washed with water and sometimes soap. The Pedi chairs are broken and no longer filter water so they are not able to be sanitized properly. But that never mattered because the girls never cleaned them between clients other then wiping them out. The girls that are hired only stay for a couple months because of the terrible environment there. Some of them are not even trained or went to school for esthetics. I feel sorry for the girls that do work there because they continually do not get paid properly or get their full tip cheques. The owner Bassem is a crooks! Pink lime is running on groupon vouchers and have no repeat clients because of their terrible service. I handled many complaints. Even ones from Bassems clients that got terrible hair cuts. Many because of the oh so famous upside down layering technique he does. Horrible! So I doubt it will be open for much longer. I have never seen so many clients leave un-happy, screaming and sometime even crying. On a daily bases a staff member would walk out because they have had enough. This business is the worse run and most disgusting spa I have ever seen and I have been in the industry for 10 years. I highly recommend to stay away from pink Lime Calgary. I am sorry for the other pink Lime in the west because I hear nothing but good things form them. As they are all run by different people. This place gives the rest of the industry a bad name and should be closed down because of the unsanitary conditions. But I am quite certain that it will not last very much longer.
