Complaint Review: Pizza Hutt - Kennewick Washington

Don George was fired some time ago for innappropriate conduct with a female employee. New manager: Christina Record, at this store. Same old crap. Nothing has changed, drugs on the job. Managers showing up drunk or hungover, especially Christina. No concern for customers or health codes. Typical of this franchise group. I have seen management lighting up and smoking hash oil on the job!  They usually do their drugs in the back near the freezer. It's outside so they get away with it.

I have worked for Columbia Basin Pizza Hut for 23 years. Worked hard. Started as a cook and worked my way up to now, helping to run the company. I am unsure why someone would place this type of document. I can tell you that the only thing on here that I know to be true is that we were robbed at our Kennewick location. The people that were there were extremely scared. One person stopped working for us. There is almost nothing that I do not hear about eventually in our company. We have a very open door policy for team members to voice complaints. We train every new employee how to do so during their first week of employement. None of the issues listed here have ever been voiced. I would be more than happy to invite this anonymous person that does not work for us, to contact me and help me solve problems instead of trying to create one. Every company has a problem now and then and I have seen those handful of issues during my 23 year tenure. We are quick to react to anything that does not promote our legal system, health codes or sense of decency. Our company employs 700 hard working people. I don't really get why a person would try to cause those people to lose their jobs. I am more than willing to meet with any one at any time that may have a question about any of these unbased accusations. There are a bunch of hard working people at this location and this is just slap in their face. Might some of them do drugs in their off time? I don't know, but our obligation is to ensure that they do not work while under the influence. Would I prefer that they do not do drugs? Of course I would. My own daughter works at Pizza Hut. She has for over 2 years. She is at the top of her class. Has been accepted at SPU and PLU for next fall. I just don't get the purpose of this posting. I can tell you that sexual harassment is not tolerated. Pornographic materials are not posted. Health code violations do not exist (public record). There is no such thing documented by any Health official or in any complaint ever filed at this restaurant. In fact this store has very low turnover. Has very high customer ratings and very high sales growth. Again, please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or should you have an issue that you would like to report. As a concerned shareholder I launched my own investigation 8 months ago. Here's some of my findings: Armed robbery at this location in Dec '07. Manager on shift and some staff are key suspects in Kennewick Police Dept. investigation. Drug use in the restaraunt by staff has been witnessed and documented. Profanity by management is widespread. Threats by management are commonplace. Store manager can frequently be seen sleeping in her car during her shift. Employees have been seen cooking pizzas after work in their pajamas. Delivery driver making food deliveries with a dog in the vehicle has been documented. Porngraphic materials posted in the kitchen have been witnessed and documented. Sexual harrassment is tolerated by management. Numerous health code violations have been documented. These are just a few items I pulled from one affadavit. Kennewick Pizza Hut is owned by Columbia Basin Pizza Huts Inc. a Washington based corporation. I will keep everyone posted on the status of my investigation and the upcoming litigation.
