On July 19, 2012, I knew I was going to be without health insurance. I did some shopping around and signed a contract with the following company: ENA Enrollment, Association Representative Jaclyn Cutrone [email protected] 1-877-548-2826 Plan Selected: ENA PPO 2 (Effective Date: 2012-08-01) They took a processing fee of $150 First $647 per month. This money was taken out of my husband's checking account since 2012 to pay for my coverage. Appx one year ago I can't remember offhand I start to get letters from the national Allied workers union, local 831 insurance trust, administrative office at 6970 W. Diversy Ave., Chicago, IL 60707.
They told me that they were now my insurance company which was news to me. I originally had Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois then all of a sudden they tell me that they have taken over and gave me a plan through the union which is Aegis Admin Local 831, NAWU, National allied workers union health and welfare fund. They told me that the Blue Cross Blue Shield was no longer available so they gave me CIGNA. I spoke to White Plains Hospital White Plains New York, and they told me that everybody at the hospital with this coverage has not had any of their dates of services paid.
This has started happening to me yet the money is still continually coming out of my husband's checking account on the 27th of every month in the amount of $829. I am now stuck with thousands and thousands of dollars of bills including one bill close to $7000 from Mount Sinai Hospital because I was approved for a pet scan. This was last December 2015 and they still have not paid it even though I had approved authorization for the pet scan. I have tried to do some research on PJP insurance but it seems that they are no longer in business. In fact through a rip off search I found the following:
http://m.ripoffreport.com/r/pjp-insurance-agency/south-holland-illinois-/pjp-insurance-agency-beachtree-health-insurance-innovations-the-national-congress-of-emp-662217 They are not paying any of my medical bills along with everybody else's medical bills at the White Plains medical center. This needs to be addressed and it needs to be addressed quickly. I have also filed a complaint with the New York State Department of financial services and opened up a case because I have so many bills that they have not paid I probably I'm going to have to file bankruptcy.
