I bought Groupon that POSH advertised - 3 treatments for $149.

First Visit: They said Groupon made a mistake and they are no longer taking that deal. But they offered 3 treatments for $300. I bought 2 packages for $600. First laser hair removal done.

Second Visit: Dr sofia kirk said they cannot offer the deal that they already promised me. I have to buy 3 treatments for $800. After further argument she left the room saying I have to find out. Then she said she is OK with 3 for $300. 2nd treatment done.

Third visit: In my 3rd treatment, Dr Sofia Kirk treated me. I had severe burns on my face. I went back on the same day, showed my burns and asked for my money back. Dr Sofia Kirk rudely refused.

I followed up with an appointment. She checked my scars. When she saw they are healing she was even rude. Dr Sofia Kirk also very rudely refused to give my money back.

This complaint is innacurate and embellished

This is Dr. Sofia Kirk from Posh Plastic Surgery.  This patient claims several things in her complaint which are simply untrue.  First of all, the deal she was offered and given was $300 for 6 treatments of laser hair removal, of which she purchased 2 areas. This was given at a significant discount from our regular price, which is about $800-1000 for 6 treatment given the area.

Treatments were explained to her, including risks of skin reactions and mild burning, which can happen with treatment, but resolve spontaneously. With informed consents signed, she agreed to proceed.
She had 3 of the 6 treatments performed.  With the last treatment, she developed some mild burns under her chin.  My certified laser technician gave her some products to soothe the area, apologized for her burns, and explained to her again that this sometimes occurs, but will resolve on it's own in a few days.  This is exactly what happened, and she admitted that to us too.  She also told my staff that she was happy with the hair removal results she was getting.

She claims that I was personally rude to her and refused to give her money back, but in reality, I had not even had a chance to meet her, she demanded ALL of her money back from the previous treatments which were already done, and she was very rude to my staff and stormed out before I got a chance to evaluate her burns.  Then she posted claims all over the internet about how I was personally rude to her but never even spoke to me.  When I called her and spoke with her personally, She demanded her money back, and it was promptly refunded in its entirety, including the treatments she had 6 weeks and 12 weeks ago.   We have asked her several times to update these sites with a truthful update, but she still refuses.

Occasionally patients commit to laser hair removal treatments, but then change their mind or need the money back for some reason and use excuses such as this and post lies on the internet to get their way.
