hired premier handyman contractors owner blake melton to replace falling window and rotted wood.

I had to pay for the windows as he did not have any credit ( red flag there). he always make excusses when he was suppose to start or come out to work on my job.

He wanted down payment first day(ok).  he was not focused on my project as his truck got hit and was to worried about that instead of my job

he continued with the job. he wanted more money the 2nd day..  conversations were had about the poor workman ship

he left my project unfinished and what he did was a poor excuse of workman ship. I had to get other contractors out to give me a price to repair and fix his job. they all stated they never seen such poor workman ship before

I paid him the last day ( i should of never done) but conversation was getting out of hand and i didnt want it to get out of hand so i paid him thinking the next day i could stop payment on the check and reissue a new one for the correct amount but much to my suprise that checks were already cashed.

I called him to discuss this matter and he stated to me it was a done deal and it wasnt his fault I went over budget and the when you want cadillac materials you pay for it ( i didnt know home depot was that classy)

He would not sit down with me with the bills to go over them to see how much I acutally owed him. he took advantage of me and riped me off over $1700 dollars plus the money i had to pay the new contractor to fix his sub par work.

He was way over his head with this project.  people beware.. do not hire him. he will take you for a ride.

took him to small claims court and he didnt have the nerve to show up.

You keep saying you paid for the windows., all you did was order them. I have to pay half when you ordered them and then the other half when they came in. so stop saying you paid for the windows...step up and be a honest businessman.  you keep contacting me about how you want to make payments and make things right but all I get is bullshit from you.. .excuse after excuse after excuse. step up!

and you know it was never about the money or a budget .  you gave us a price of $5450.00 had a few extra expenses that brought it up to $6200.00 so why did we pay over $9000 dollars??? can you expalin that to me, because your dishonest . thats all i have to say!!!!

I was hired to do this job. The windows alone were over $3,000.00. They told us there was rotten wood underneath the old windows, but only 4 ' or so. When we got the windows out we realized the entire 35' of wood needed to be replaced. I explained to Beth and her husband that this was going to add to material and labor cost, now that we have to tear out all the old wood and replace it with new wood at NO COST for labor, just the $475 for materials, they agreed. We finished the job, and they were happy enough to write me a check, and I explained to them that if there were any issues to contact me, and we'll take care of them. A month goes by and she leaves a not so nice message about ripping her off and so on,so I gave her a day or so to calm down and emailed her, and it wasn't about faulty workmanship,it was that we over charged them. I had 3 guys out there for a week. She then sends me to small claims court for $3800 and now I have a garnishment on my credit report. The whole time we were doing the job, she kept repeating, "Oh my god we are going over budget"! After the 4th time she said it I asked her if she wanted us to stop. She replied, "we'll someone has to finish it!" I should've known right there, there would be problems. I was in Oklahoma for 3 weeks when this summons must have came because I was never heard in court,so now i'm stuck with a huge hit to my credit score, and forced to pay for her windows and then some. I was angry, but now I'm just sad that you can't trust people. I told her ANYTHING wrong with craftsmanship, ill fix it, If she calls someone else, the conract is void, which is the case with most companies. All potential customers look at my pictures and you be the judge of how the job became to look like hers in a couple months. And yet the company she hired, where are the after pictures? I know I would've won in court, and we talked alot and she knew I would be out of town when I was, just in case she tried to call about anything. Just look and see. I install for The Home Depot, Champion Windows, and have worked for Pella. The windows she ordered were custom ordered from Wholesale Siding Depot because they were so big. I feel sorry for this woman, to have to make up stories about what happened. The only money she gave me was $3,000 for the windows, which is standard, as I am a new company trying to establish credit, and a show of good faith that she had the money for the job. I did not ask for a penny more until the job was completed. I dont think I can post receipts on here or bank statements, but my 30 other 5 star reviews from customers and my A+ rating with Angies List tell a completely different story.

As i stated ealier in my rebuttal the owner of premeir handyman was talking he would like to settle things and work things out.

my end of the bargin was to write a rebuttal about his work, and in return he would sign a contract ( his words) stating he would start making payments for the monies he overcharged me. I took him for his word and his good faith.

WRONG!  I contacted him, giving him payment options and never heard from him again.

so my final words  STAY AWAY FROM HIM !!!!!

PREMEIR HANDYMAN - WORKING THINGS OUT

I have spoken to the owner of premier handyman and we have reached an agreement to try and settle our differences.

I am willing to do that. This company does have potential to do great work, but he needs to realize his limits in this field.

So lets give him the opportunity to make things right!

thanks!!
