Prestige Financial Services This company is just flat out unethical. They use phoney numbers so they can't be traced; violate the Fair Credit Practices laws on a major scale. After paying my loan for 72 months I sent for my title. I was told I had missed 5 payments-not true- and that I owed $3505.00. Yet the account manager Mary Morgan could not explain to me what that money was for. I do not have a balloon note. I suggest any of you having an issue file a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission at FTC.com. The FTC is the governing body for consumer financing. Don't waste your time with the BBB or any agency that does not have direct supervision of consumer financing. Salt Lake City Utah
I have a straight and simple car loan-although at a ridiculously high interest rate. The term was for 72 months. This company hounded, harrassed, and harrangued starting at 12:01 am the day after a payment was due. Although I was late, (my contract stipulates "payment within 10 days") but PFS decided they did not have to honor the terms of the contract, and I never missed a payment. Now I have one payment left and PFS decided that I owed them anotrher $3500. For what I don't know. Mary Margan has n ot answered email nor responded to a letter, registered return reciept. I filed a complaint with the FTC and after three more attempts to get a copy of my ledger, I sent a letter to the Cheif Financial Officer. I am still waiting.
If you have a choice, do not use this company. they actually treat every 1,000th customer well, but for the rest, you will be treated like pond scum. That is their trademark

After reading all the complaints against this company I believe it is time to unite and file class action. I am investigating that option right now and will post what I find out. They need to be stopped.
