Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Priceline also got me with the "Name Your Price" by purchasing two tickets, without confirming which airport I would fly into (there was two in my search criteria).

Within 5 minutes I called only for their wonderful, helpful customer service to hear "no refunds." That is the biggest bunch of malarchy I have ever heard. Priceline needs to be put out of business, flat out. This is not the first time they have been portrayed in a negative way.

Before others defend Priceline practices let me just say that if they are so wonderful and have so much faith in their business practices then why is no one ever able to get their money back.

If I had a business I was sure of and wanted to treat my customers right I would not have that policy.

Priceline is a bunch of crooks, and I agree with the other posters on this board they will get back what's coming ten fold. I hope for another Enron and some prison sentences for these crooks!

I had the exact same situation as Lisa experienced happen to me. I specifically entered what destination I wanted to go to, and was required to enter my credit card info before accepting and being able to view the full flight itinerary. When I found out the flight was actually set for a different destination than what I had requested, I called immediately to have it corrected. But I got the same robotic reponse that everyone else who has been ripped off by this company gets: "NO REFUNDS WHATSOEVER." I then wrote to them explaining the situation, only to get a generic reply saying they couldn't handle my request. What kind of crap is that for customer service? They are basically saying with their "NO REFUND" robots that they can make any kind of mistake whatsoever, and it doesn't matter who they screw over or how big their mistake is. The only reason they get away with this at all is because they are an internet company based in Massachusetts, so it's virtually impossible for anyone to sue them from out of state. And just an FYI-- if you go to google.com and type in "priceline.com" "rip-off", you will get over 23,100 websites. Wish I would've tried that before I ever went to priceline.com. I will be starting my own website soon in an attempt to get the word out there about what horrible things this company is doing to people. Stay tuned...

The following was taken directly from Priceline.com, under their terms and conditions page: Name Your Own Price Airline Services In addition, the following restrictions apply to priceline.com's Name Your Own Price airline service: All tickets are non-refundable, non-endorsable and non-changeable. At the time your Request is accepted, your method of payment will be charged for the amount shown, regardless of whether or not the airline ticket is used. Credit will not be given for any unused airline tickets and cannot be used toward any future purchases; Once a priceline.com Request is submitted, it cannot be modified by you; All travel will be round-trip with no unscheduled stopovers or open-jaw travel (i.e., destination of outbound flight and origin of return flight are not the same) permitted. If you do not use one of the flights in your reservation, the airline will cancel your remaining itinerary; Frequent Flyer mileage and upgrades will not be permitted. Standbys and other uses of frequent flyer miles will not be permitted; and All tickets will be issued for Economy class only. If you submit a Name Your Own Price Request for airline tickets, you agree that if tickets satisfying your Name Your Own Price Request are located, the amount of the submitted Name Your Own Price Request, and all taxes, charges, surcharges, shipping/handling and/or processing or other fees, which are described in more detail in the click through "Taxes and Fees" will be automatically charged to the method of payment you provided to priceline.com. The "Total Trip Cost" will be disclosed to you before you submit your Request. Our fee for fulfilling a Request is included in the amount of your Request. In addition, we charge a separate and additional processing fee, which is included in the "Taxes and Fees" amount disclosed to you. It is clearly stated that "no refunds" will be allowed if using the Name Your Own Price feature. While I do not agree with this, under certain circumstances, it is there in black and white. Whenever ordering from Priceline, you are in effect signing a contract, as stated in another portion of the terms and conditions disclosure.
