Prime Cut was having a 50% off sale because they opened their new store in White Bear Lake. For this, they were going door-to-door in order to drum up business. We asked the salesperson if he could come back in a few days (after payday) and he assured us that we could post-date a check that would be held until after payday. However, the check was cashed and the money came out of our account the next day.
When I called to tell them we no longer wanted the steaks, I spoke with Jennifer, and she said it would be no problem as long as I followed the cancellation policy - we had three business days to decide if we wanted to keep the steaks. I sent the cancellation to them within two business days (Friday) and no one got back to me.
I called a number of times and it sounded like I was calling a daycare facility. No one could answer my questions and I was told by Steve that he would give my information to the boss, who would return my call. A few days later, after not hearing back, I called again and this time spoke to Kevin. He said that what Steve said doesn't make sense because Steve is the main boss.
My calls go unanswered and I just want my money back because of the shady business practices and the unwillingness to work with a consumer that trusted this company in the beginning.
