Primerica Financial Services Beware! Ripoff! I got a vague call from some guy only stating a phone number and no company name telling me I was highly recommended to him for a position. Coon Rapids Minnesota*UPDATE: Primerica recognized by Rip-off Report a business opportunity well worth considering - it's not for everyone but many representatives make solid commission incomes. Primerica takes appropriate action against representatives conducting themselves improperly, pledges 100% commitment to customer service.
I got a voicemail today, extremely vague telling me I was highly recommended for a position within the company and they would like me to call and schedule an interview. No company name, no description ... I was very skeptical about it, but went ahead and called.
I asked where they got my name and the guy stumbled for a few seconds and finally said they got it from one of many clients. I asked him what kind of position and he said, "Well, we have many different ones." At this point I was thinking its got to be a scam, but I went ahead and set up an appointment just to check it out.
Sure enough I get to this website and hear the same stories over and over. Thank goodness for this site, at least I didn't have to go through it. I called the guy back and told him I wanted to cancel, he asked why and I told him I did some research and told him I figured out he had gotten my name from monster.com where I had posted a resume. He denied this and said they would never do that and that they are the most reputable company in the nation and proceded to try and interrogate me further as to why I would not come in. Just wanted to thank this website and the other people who gave me the heads up.
