If you bought life insurance with primerica go get something else that doesn't rip you off. Primerica charges women the same rates they do men. It means you are paying almost double the rate you should be paying. Here are some sample rates of other companies that are as highly rated or higher rated than primerica. Since you're a single mom I'll guess you are in your 30s. There is hardly any difference in rates between a 30 year old and a 39 year old so I'll quote for a 35 year old non-smoking women in good health, $250,000 of 20 year guaranteed level term. First Colony, Genworth, West Coast life, Banner Life, all less than $16 a month. Met Life and American General less than $17 a month. AAA, Lincoln National and Ohio National $17 a month. Primerica a shade under $25 a month The differences for female smokers are really HUGE!!!! The lowest premium available for a 35 year old female smoker in good health is $32 a month, for primerica its 70 a month. Get on the internet, investigate rates, apply for insurance elsewhere. After its approved and you accept it drop primerica like a hot rock.
