Well, I am a current employee of Primerica and yes I will agree that the job opportunity does sound a bit "too good to be true"! But the fact is, there is a job here and there is income. The part that I want to make a comment on is the $199 that you are charged when you start with Primerica. That fee of $199 is actually to pay for your books and classroom instruction so you can get your State Life Insurance license. Which is required to work for Primerica. So your not paying the company to work for them. You are paying to get a State and Federaly recognized license that will last for four years, in which you are authorized to produce life insurance sales in your state. Yes it does cost money to get started, but only being here for a few months, I have already made money, sales, and helped out several friends. Regardless, I just watned to comment on that $199 you have to submit when joining Primerica. No, nothing is for free, but everything comes with a price and work attached, that's common sense. If you were concerned about that $199, you should have asked what it was for. So to reiterate: Your not paying to work for Primerica, you are paying to become state licensed so you can work for Primerica.
