Proguns.com - shooters Shop took my order, billed credit card for full amount, 15 weeks later refunded money West Alice Wisconsin
place order 11/15/2008 for a les baer rifle, credit card was billed for 2019.00 at that time was told to expect delivery in 8-10 weeks.
at eleven weeks sent e-mail to check progress was told "should be soon ,expect in in another week or 2"
15 th week 2/25/2009 called on phone, salesman could not find my file, then called back with the news "Baer is having trouble getting parts, and cant tell us when they might deliver"
called Baer at that point, to find that proguns had ordered one of the rifles 11/18/2008 under the name "shooters shop --- it was delivered 2/19/2009. and did not have another one ordered .
called proguns back was told the rifle deliverd on 19th was another customers-- mine was on order-- when told it was not on order, they finally admitted that it was never ordered, that they woul order it now-- but didnt have the proper paperwork, or would refund money.
have since ordered the rifle thru another dealer, and discovered that the price i originally payed was dealers cost-- sorry, but dont believe any company would sell a product at their cost.
my opinion, eithe proguns never intended to deliver rifle, or they realized they had made a mistake, sat on my money for 15 weeks, and then sold rifle at new cost???
