ProJet Power Equipment Rip Off & Fraud Kent Washington
ProJet charged $718 (on my Amex card)in February, for replacement burner for my pressure washer and never delivered. When asked, they stated that they were out of stock and new stock would be delivered within a week. When I called to follow up, early last week, two lines were busy, one line had a voice mail and the mail box was full, and the fax line was also busy.
I drove to their place of business in a commercial business park (nice facilities), and you guessed it; there was nobody home. Just a sign on the glass door stating that there was a death in the family, they were closed for business and sorry for the inconvenience. Peeking through the glass door, the building had been emptied of all furniture and equipment and the only things left, were scraps of paper and cardboard on the floors.
I reported my findings to American Express and they will start an investigation.
My contact was Don Emerson, one of the family owners of the business.
