Purebred Sales, L.L.C. or Elite Sales, Magazine Contest Sales Scam Escondido California
This is another one of those contests for students looking to pay for college by earning points and winning prizes thru magazine sales. The salesperson who came to my door seemed legitimate, especially after relating a story about someone who got ripped off in another state a few years back, and he said that I would get a confirmation phone call from the company in 2-3 days and that I would also receive a thank-you note from the organization that I donated the magazine t0 (they didn't have any titles I wanted so I chose to donate the subscription to a local shelter). I got neither. I called the customer service number listed on the receipt and was connected to a data entry center who had "no authority to do anything about my order." The representative also said that Purebred Sales, LLC has no telephone number and that there is nothing that can be done and no one to contact about any orders - even though the receipt states "If you are not completely satisfied or have questions about this order, please cal 760-489-5578 or fax 760-489-5598." This phone number connects to the contracted data entry center, "This sales company [Purebred Sales LLC] has contracted South Coast Circulation Inc to guarantee the fulfillment of the terms of this agreement." Some guarantee. Some fulfillment. They can't do anything.
These salespeople encourage you to and prefer that you give them cash. I gave them a check and am in the process of stopping payment. My bank has recommended contacting the State Attorney General to see if other complaints have been filed, obviously others have had similar experiences with this company and other names by which it is known that are all listed at the same address.

purebred sales president mack hall jr.&southcoast circulation c.e.o. john reiner are stand up professional businessmen these sales agents not all but some lack enthusiasm n selfconfidence so instead of selling 10 or 12 people they meet 1 or 2 subscriptions they high pressure 1 or 2 people into buying 10 or 12 each a happy bubbling personality can sell almost anyone they canvas but a lazy salesperson who leaves their neghborhood to go hang out at a wal mart parking lot go in the store to play video games on the computers back in the electronics dept. before you know it their field supervisor is coming to check on them so they rush around to find a couple of young college types to high pressure them into ordering 10 subscriptions when that person would have had no ill will about picking out 1 or 2 it just comes down to poor lazy work ethic tsshey dont have the people skills to sell the dads and moms out in the house neighborhoods so they wait till their kids of the college set go to the mall or a shopping plaza if they went to sales meetings and learned enthusiasm n positive minded conversational skills there wouldnt be a cancellation thought or issue i think if the girl in that wal mart lot had ordered 1 or 2 magazines her parents probably might not have been nearly as disgruntled these sales agents need salesmanship not beggarship and anybody selling to encourage a subscriber to cancel an order should not be representing the sales crew or the clearinghouse company they represent period no ifs ands or buts thanks for the rebuttal forum signed wenzel april 2008

ok i know people get there magazines and i think its really messed up that the person said its for school (cause its not) so i am gonna give you some info the guy who owns the business is MAC HALL, his sister Renee Hall is the one who travels with us i could get fired for giving this info out if you want to talk to him directly call his cell 720 232 9608 renees # is 720 984 7341 dont tell them where you got these numbers because i work for them
