In late March I watched a TV ad from Purity Products. The ad stated that I would get a one month "sample" of product and if I called with their window of time, I would not be billed. I called them within the time limit and cancelled the product as I felt it wasn't really living up to the results in the ad and then not worth the money.

 

On April 8, I checked with my online banking system and noted that my account was debited for $64.80. I immediatly phoned the company and stated that I was supposed to get a free sample, There was quite a lot of discussion about various offere and the like. At the end I simply stated that I wanted my account credited for the $64.80. As of April 10, my account has not been credited. 

 

DO NOT use this product and DO NOT believe the TV ads they use. They are promoting false expectations and results and charging consumers for product that is worthless. I stand with al of the other people that have complained on this website concerning this company.

By information, do you mean MY NAME. The name signed on this report is the same name as on the order!!

What I asked for is simple, that you give me the authorization number so I could send the product back. I called and origionally set this up within the company's 60 day window. 

From what I can see, and reading the vast majority of complaints, your company simply does not want to give proper refunds.

Purity did in fact give me a “return authorization number” so that I COULD PAY FOR THE SHIPPING. Why should I PAY THE SHIPPING WHEN I DIDN’T ORDER THE PRODUCT?

As of today after ripping my study apart I could not find the number. I decided to buckle, as my credit union stated that filing a dispute would be iffy.

So, today I spoke to a rude “customer care” person, who announced to me that I had surpassed the 60 day window…a window I was NEVER INFORMED OF. After a little arguing, I spoke to a “supervisor” named Hector, who checked to see what he could do and, and bingo, the result was the same. I thought supervisors, we actual supervisors who managed and coached employees, not excuse makers.

He offered me a 10% credit of $14.69, which obviously not what I was looking for.

When filing my complaint with BBB, I noticed a HUGE number of complaints that looked….just like mine! He didn’t care if I filed with BBB or not, either. Speaking of which, HOW do they get an A+ rating with BBB when the have the huge number of complaints that they do?

I’m still waiting ….in ID.
