Beware that pushpin holdings llc is an extortionate, corruptive company out to bleed hard working tax paying people and businesses out of monies they don't owe. I just received a letter from them stating that we owe over $2300. and that if we paid by September 30, 2015, it would be reduced to over $450. This is what they call a hardship settlement agreement. My wife had a beauty salon from 1998 till 2003. She never signed or leased any credit card machine, which push pin said she did. Now they spelled her name wrong and even spelled the name of the business wrong. Normally a business has a web site these days, which they don't have. Any trust worthy company would have a physical address, not them, they have a PO Box. They want people to pay a lower amount because when they do, you reopen the case and then they can Bill you anything they want, because the statue of limitation would no longer exist. The statute of limitation in NY is 6 years for collection of leased equipment. Even though we never leased this machine, this statute of limitation is well pass the time limit.So please don't fall for this trick because they will haunt you forever until you paid for something you never had. I did a lot research on this company and they are just plain crooks, praying on people who don't know the Law. Each state varies on this statute so you have to check for your state, but usually it's 6 years. Why the city, state, and government don't put a stop to this I don't know. Perhaps if more people complain about these illegal companies they can put a stop to this. As for me I plan to do nothing about paying these thieves. Let them take me to court because the burden of proof is on them. Don't let them ruin your credit. I plan to write a letter to all 3 credit agencies advising them what's going on with pushpin holdings. Sincerely, Vince
