Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We purchase a set of used equipment on an Invoice for $12,000.  On the invoice curt claimed the items to be in good working condiiton.  We get them in house and set up to start to run them.  The quipment is not in good working condition.  This is what my tech discovered:

On boot up, when the program does a system diagnosis, two errors continuously arise.   E-stop Error: Manual suggests releasing the knob to help fix issue, but regardless if released or in place, error appears on boot up every time. Speculation: module not communicating?   Home A Error: Rotation from than A-axis has failed. Cleaned all axis' and nozzle as a potential fix and still no luck. Speculation: calibration needed?   Essemtec customer service says we need to register our machine to be under warranty and then pay technician fee for having an agent come out to do a  check-up.    Estimated total cost: $12,000     Warranty sign up: $2,000     Technician check-up for service: $10,000   This estmated cost id what we paid for the entire machine he claimed worked correctly in the invoice. So yes, we have it in writing from him.

For the record, this machine was sold "as is. That was told to the customer on the phone up front and in writing. We genraly bring equipment in to our facility, test and inspect each piece and replace worn parts. We did not with this particular machine because we did not have the expertise on this model. We DISCLOSED THIS to the customer up front, prior to any purcahse. The machine WAS fully operational prior to shipment. We wittnessed that in production and why we told the customer that. We also highly suggested that the customer have factory insatllation whcih he did not do (said they could do it on their own). We find on any "self"install, problmes do occur because of lack of expertise. If he would have bought a BRAND NEW machine and did a "self" install on any machine, it would have voided a new equipment warranty.

We offer FULL warranties on what we can test and inspect. The warranties we have offered over the years have been 100% backed. We have honoored 100% of them and are more than happy to supply a list of references from prestgous comapnies that have been buying from us for years and even decades that will tell you we back up eveything we warrant.

If you check we also have an A+ rating fromn the BBB.
