As a motor carrier we are used to seeing maintenance bills but our experience at RG Trucking services was far beyond anything we expected. We went in needing a core replacement for a radiator on a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia. Upon checking in to the shop we had the part needing to be change. We had called around and got a few estimates from dealerships and all indicated the job would be about 8 hours of labor which is industry standard for the repair we needed along with the coolant which would be 11 gallons @ 34.00 per gallon when they are 15.00 each at the truck stops.
We went ahead with the repair at RG Trucking services and were shocked with the labor amount when we received our bill. They had charged us for 19 hours of labor which is more than double the industry standard for that repair. Furthermore, the only payment type they accept is EFS which can not be disputed after the fact. This is to alert all fellow carriers of the deceptive and fraudulent billing practices of this shop. They prey on carriers that trust them with there equipment once they have you in their bay get ready to be taken to the cleaners. I would strongly suggest not doing business with this company at all.
