The end of January 2009, I started receiving phone calls regarding a free cruise I had won on Imperial Cruise Lines-I have never been on a cruise due to my dislike of being confined to an area in the middle of the ocean-I prefer air travel-Back to the issue-I never returned any of the several calls until today, March 3,2009-The phone operator was pleasant enough but it was obvious to me her wording was severly scripted and mechanical-When I aked questions, I never received a direct response-A 2-night 3-day cruise was escalating into a 5-7 day trip staying 3 more days in Ft Lauderdale at the RAMADA-Just the mention of this motel made my skin crawl-Being that the room accomodations on land would be in a sleazbag motel I questioned what the ship accomodations could possibly be-RED FLAG-

Secondly, the phone operator, before finishing the itinerary with me began asking me if I had a credit card to cover the port fee of $118-Of course everything else for this supposed FREE cruise was inclusive-meals-breakfast lunch-dinner-Once arriving on Nassau-a visit to Atlantis-(Been there)-Snorkling-scuba diving-shopping-A free vehicle through Alamo-If I decided to stay the extra three days in Ft Lauderdale-SOUND GOOD?-to good to be true-She continued to ask if I had a credit or debit card for the port fees to be paid immediately-to confirm my reservation and guarantee my FREE cruise-I stated that I did have a credit card but didn't have the information in front of me-I told her I would call back-She informed me that the Free cruise would no longer be available if I did not pay the port fees during this conversation-RED FLAG II-

I then stated that I was NOT paying during this call and I would not be accepting the trip-She proceeded to put me on hold-John the payment processing guy-I won't even put the title of MGR to his name-came on the line and repeated the same ---- the phone operator had-At this point, I told him that I had no information to give them at this time-WHAT PART OF THAT DON'TYOU UNDERSTAND???-He then told me he would find someone else to give the cruise to and hung up on me-THANK YOU-I didn't get scammed like so many other unsuspecting individuals-I would reccomend do your research before you buy, but you do not need to research this Fraudulent Co.-BEWARE-Report them-
