Ramon Becerra Custom Iron WorksAKA: Customer Iron Group Ramon stole $1,100 deposit money and promised to return it since he could not perform the work (Iron gate in front of my house) but he never did, after repeated attempts by myself Yorba Linda California
Ramon Becerra (currently operating as Custom Iron Works, AKA Custom Iron Group out of Yorba Linda, CA) was hired to build a gate in front of my house, I was quoted for the job and (foolishly) gave Ramon an upfront deposit ($1,100) , about half the cost for the job. I explained to Ramon that I needed drawings to submit to the home owners association first in order to get the necessary approvals to complete the job. Long story short, a couple months later, and many reminders by myself and many broken promises by Ramon, no drawings. I finally got fed up and cancelled the whole thing and requested my deposit back. Ramon was supposed to bring me a check, of course he never showed, then he said he mailed it, more lies, never got my depost back and have since filed with BBB as well as the State Contractors license Board , found out that he does not even have a license. Ramon is a complete scam artist, he has colorful business cards and a logo on the truck to give the unwitting comsumer a feeling of confidence, check out the BBB and also the state contractors license board and you can verify no license and the compliants filed with BBB. Caveat Emptor, let the buyer beware, do not do business with this con artist and thief.... my biggest regret is that I did not do my due diligence and homework prior to doing business with this scammer, a little home work goes a long way!
