I hired this contractor to concrete my driveway. He found me the best price available and had the lowest bid so I hired him. He promised me that he would get a dump truck to dump all materials and also added an additional $224 onto the job to install a brand new Roll down door on my shed.
The job started out ok ... The concrete was poured on a Monday night. He asked to be paid and said that he would return on Tuesday with the dump can and the door for the shed.
Tuesday came and went ... I called and he said he would be here the nest day (Wednesday). Well come Thursday still no dump can or door for my shed. I drove up to my house to see one of his workers parked in my yard! Come to find out this man had not paid his workers yet!!! I gave the worker my number and told him to call me when he got paid.
After numerous calls over the weekend I finally got a return call from Mr. Bishop with some excuse that his son was in the hospital and he left his phone at home. Being that this man was also supposed to do my siding (a $6,000 project) I was pleasant thinking my door would come with the siding. He said that he would be at my house that Monday morning after his son's followup doctor's appointment with the dump can and the door.
Needless to say I have not heard from him since. He doesn't answer my phone calls nor emails. I did receive a call from his worker saying he finally got paid about 6 days later. needless to say he lost the $6,000 job that we were going to pay him for sididng. He can forget about that ... I don't care if he has ordered materials for it yet or not!
It has now been 2 weeks and still no door and no communication. After what I feel were hundreds of calls to this man with no answers I feel this is my last recourse. At least my concrete was poured but I am still waiting on a door. Hopefully I will be able to update soon with some good news on the conclusion to this.
P. S. I hired this contractor from a website called BIDCLERK.COM where you post your jobs and contractors contact you to bid on that job. So if you ever use the site (GREAT site by the way) and a Randall Bishop from Alabama contacts you to get your job .... Be very Wary if you decide to hire him. He is very deceiving by appearing to be a man of good morals and intergrity. Always talking about church and how he never wants to hurt others ... Be very wary or you may lose more than the $224 that I seemed to have lost.

i recently have come in contact with Randall. HE IS STILL A SCAM ARTIST!!!! He does *appear* to he a Christian, wholesome, nice man. But everyone who knows him has the most aweful things to say!! He is a liar!! He's great at putting up the "good guy front" but BEWARE!!!!

I have given this man every chance a person could get. BEWARE!!! He claims to be a Christian and working on getting his life straight but he is just a LIAR and a SCAM! Christians are perfect but they don't act like this man.
I met with another contractor that sold the doors that he apparently ordered and I was told that my shed was too narrow and not tall enough for any kind of roll up door so Mr. Bishop Planned to run with my money from the start.
If you decide to hire him anyway beware because he told me he has a problem that he was trying to correct and that is why he wasn't back to do the job but I would get my money back ... It has been over 6 months and still not even the first $10 payment that I told him I would accept!!

I contacted BIDCLERK.COM regarding this contractor and 15 minutes later the contractor call me back.
He is obviously dealing with some issues out of his control and had promised to get me a refund check within the next two weeks. So I appreciate him contacting me at all and trying to come to a resolution to this situation.
Hopefully I will be back in two weeks to let you all know if the refund check ever arrives.
