Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I started working for Real Care Transportation as a driver in January 2017. In the beginning, everything was great. I was paid on time and got plenty of driving cases. Mr. O'Dell seemed like a decent man, Monica and Jen conducted business respectfully. But after couple months the checks started to come late. Their answers were "we made a mistake in the system" or "it probably got lost in the mail". I wasn't too concerned at that moment, I understand that they have a hectic job and stuff happen. But it was frustrating, I did my job on time, never caused any trouble to them so getting paid on time would've been nice.

On May 2017 my car broke down. I put a new transmission which was costly. I had to quit this job because the pay was not enough for my expenses. I did quit on good terms and submitted my last 2 timesheets on time. But I haven't gotten the last 2 paychecks for the timesheets I submitted for a month now. I keep calling the office, Monica finds all kind of excuses. The last time I called her excuse was "Frank had a stroke". Bunch of BS, he's posting on his Facebook page how he's picking sea glasses and spending sweet time with his family. What stroke?! I called Frank, got voicemail, left one but never got a callback. I found other 3 ripoff reports on them couple months ago, didn't want to believe them but I'm sad to say I believe them now and submitting one of my own.

I finally got my last two checks.

After emailing back and forth with Monica, which involved some bickering in the beginning, we finally came to common ground and understanding. I finally got my both checks. But I have a feeling that if I hadn't pushed them hard enough, I don't think I would've gotten those checks.

Anyway, this is what Monica explained to me the reasons why checks come late and about the ripoff reports I found here:

"...We are only 3 people in an office working our butts off to ensure all drivers have work and checks go out....we are human and mistakes get made. You have no idea the amount of phone calls and requests we receive every day. I'm sorry you have had to wait it was not intentional."

"...As far as the rip off report, that has come from driver that were fired due to being late to pickups and calling out last minute. I won't lie and say we are always on time getting them out but we do the best we can. But, we sure as heck pay everyone any money owed. As long as I have been here we have."

I do want to believe her because I really did have a wonderful experience working with them. I do believe that Monica and Jen have a hard busy part of the job. My best friend works as a dispatcher, and she tells me how frustrating it gets. I think Frank needs to hire more people for the office to ease the load. This way both sides will be happy and everything will get done on time.

No matter what, I'm grateful for the opportunity they provided and wish them best of luck!
