Complaint Review: Regal Assets - Burbank California

This "complaint" reads like a typical fraudulent concoction by a disgruntled competitor, which would be the real "fake" and the real scam.

Regal Assets does not pay affiliate marketers for fake reviews.  Affiliate marketing is one of the most basic, normal, and legitimate types of business partnerships and marketing methods on the Internet, and a VAST MULTITUDE of the most well-known companies engage in it every day.  The real problem appears to be that Regal Assets is a winner, WHICH MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO HAVE USED THEM HAPPEN TO LOVE, and Regal Assets has been successful COMPARED TO MANY OF THEIR COMPETITORS - and that's a problem.  For competitors, that is.  (Hello?)

Now the disgruntled competitors out there would bamboozle and confuse you about the following, but despite their bamboozlement it doesn't get any more plain, so here goes:  when an affiliate marketing partner presents the facts about INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY RATING & REVIEW ENTITIES, that is not called making a "fake" review.  That is called presenting certain objective facts in the best light, which is of use to consumers.  So for instance, if a company happens to be accredited with the respected and valued Better Business Bureau (BBB), and not only has an "A+" rating with the BBB but also has ZERO, as in 0, nil, zilch, nada, no consumer complaints - THOSE ARE OBJECTIVE FACTS (HELLO?), and not part of a "fake review."  Furthermore, affliate marketers are not paid or compensated to do that, just like every other normal affiliate marketing program out there on the Web.  It simply happens as a matter of basic logic and common sense that it makes sense for normal affiliate marketers to present all the best factual features of Regal Assets, often in comparison to the same OBJECTIVE FACTS ABOUT THE OTHER OPTIONS I.E. COMPETITORS OUT THERE.  That happens to be useful for the interests of both the affiliate marketer and, more importantly, the consumer - a coincidence of mutual best interests.

Let's look at some of the more ridiculous elements of this seemingly FAKE "complaint" against Regal Assets, starting with the opening line:

>"Had I known from day one that Regal Assets paid online affiliates to create fake reviews, I would have never attempted to do business with them."

Well, that's false, as in - not true, to put it rather nicely.  As mentioned above, no affiliate marketer is paid to make fake reviews.  Affliate marketers with Regal Assets or with any of the vast number of affiliate marketing programs out there, from Priceline to Match.com to LendingTree to Timbuktu are only compensated when a customer is referred and does business, plain and simple.  Not for making reviews real or otherwise.  So right off the bat it's "liar, liar, liar, pants are on fire" for whoever made this "complaint."  That's not affiliate marketing.

>"As I was having a hard time telling each apart, I decided to begin conducting online research."

Gee guy, ya think that when a marketing site conveniently presents the objective facts about independent third party rating and review information about companies, that might actually be a good and mutually beneficial thing to do, rather than be something to complain and accuse people about?  Ya think?  But if I thought for one moment you yourself were anything other than a fake disgruntled competitor posting here I might actually believe that paragraph was genuine.

Okay this is where it gets really weird now:

>"Online, I could not find one complaint about this company."

Excuse me?  Say what?

I don't know what planet and in what universe the person making this "complaint" thinks and would have you believe that is a bad thing, but I guess some planet exists in some universe somewhere where that might be so.  Apparently, however, the person making this oh so sincere and genuine "complaint" thinks you, the consumer, are so gullible and so easily bamboozled that you are going to believe that it somehow supports this "complaint" and is a bad thing that THERE IS NO REAL COMPLAINT TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE ONLINE ABOUT REGAL ASSETS.  Oops!

HELLOOOOOO?  ANYBODY HOME IN THERE?

Yes, folks, I really hate to break it to you, but along with all the lovely real independent ratings of Regal Assets as being one of the best things in the industry for consumers since sliced bread as they say, it happens to be OBJECTIVELY TRUE that at the most prominent and respected "complaint" registration organization of them all, the iconic entity known and valued so normally in American society and commerce as the Better Business Bureau, one CANNOT, as the author here put it "FIND ONE COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS COMPANY."  Or anywhere else for that matter.  OOPS!

Okay, so right about now one is doubtless feeling a bit embarrassed on behalf of the author of this so-called "complaint," but I'm afraid it still gets "curiouser and curiouser" as Alice said so well:

>"As a former regional sales manager, I was always trained that disparaging competitors was a sure sign of sales weakness.  We actually received punishment when caught doing so."

Really?  In what country is that by the way?  This country, the USA?  Hmm, methinks not.  As in, not exactly the most believable element of this oh so not believable "complaint."  Okay, so let's recap US history for anyone born in the 20th century or the 21st century:  in normal American marketing and advertising, whether on TV in such entertaining ways, online, on radio, or in print - WE ARE ROUTINELY BOMBARDED WITH COMPARATIVE PROMOTION AND COMPARISON BETWEEN WHAT IS BEING PROMOTED AND COMPETITORS OFFERINGS ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT LONG 365/24/7.  It doesn't get any more normal or continual - HELLOOOOOO??

Chances are pretty darn high, by the way, that if anyone reading this happens to have the TV on, they've already been hit with another Comcast xFinity commercial slamming Verizon Fios in such entertaining ways and touting the superiority over and inferiority of FIOS.  And need I recount the myriad other brands doing the same thing?  Unreal.

So with a show of hands now then, and in light of this every day normal reality of American marketing and advertising, who on earth could even believe the following is a genuine and believable line which comes after the equally less believable "I was always trained that disparaging competitors was a sure sign of sales weakness":

"We actually received punishment when caught doing so."

Sure...  Really?

Now here's where the bamboozling of this "complaint" just keeps growing and expanding:

>"It got me to thinking about the other sites I had previously visited that had glowing reviews of the Regal Assets.  Oddly enough they all had revenue statements purporting to be paid endorsers of Regal."

Once again, this is a case of turning things upside down so that something good is made out to be something bad - and you the consumer are expected to buy it hook, line and sinker.

So I'll ask again about which planet and which universe:  where in what world and in what galaxy is OPEN AND HONEST DISCLOSURE of a marketing relationship UPFRONT AND IN THE OPEN FOR ALL TO SEE a bad thing rather than a very good thing?

HELLO?  Again - UNREAL.

I can just see it now:  "Your honor, they openly and honestly disclosed a commercial relationship with the company they are advertising - WON'T YOU DO SOMETHING TO STOP THIS DASTARDLY DEED!?  OH THE HUMANITY!!"

So who and what is it that is really "dishonest" as this "complaint" so starkly and unpleasantly charges at the end? 

I submit and suggest that it is this "complaint" report which is totally bogus, totally non-credible in the least, totally dishonest, and totally likely to have merely been made and posted by a disgruntled competitor rather than by any genuine consumer whatsoever - which the very author of this report himself or herself even already states and asserts cannot be found anywhere online actually complaining about the services and actions of Regal Assets at all no less.  (Oops!)  That is what is serious, with serious consequences.  And that’s exactly the kind of thing people do and the depth to which they go when money and market share is on the line.  Think about it, and then just look at the facts.
