Registerfly customers are scammed!

First by register fly which is out of business and would not provide any support to existing customers so they can transfer the domains at their will.

After this was complained to ICANN the international internet company. Now ICANN and GoDaddy have come to gather in a team to give more harassment to Registerfly customers.

I have five domains in the Registerfly system that I was able to access till this morning but after I called GoDaddy this morning to get the authorization code so I could transfer them I was told I have to create an account and keep my domains with GoDaddy for 60 days. This is bull*** by GoDaddy, which has so many problems their people even don't know how to operate their own systems besides harassing their customers if you don't trust me just type GoDaddy scams and you will see that.

I called ICANN last month I was told by one of their representatives that they are making arrangements where Registerfly customers should be able to take control of there own domains and manage it themselves with whoever they want. But today they have changed on their own statement and ripped of the Registerfly customers domains to GoDaddy and they are forcing the Registerfly customers to go with GoDaddy pay them and have themselves stuck their.

I did not want to give any of my information to GoDaddy to create account but I wasn't given any choice where I did not give them any of my information or allowed them to take my information from Registerfly information to GoDaddy systems. GoDaddy representatives created an account without my will today. If this is not a scam then what is it? ICANN is a federal commission for internet and they are supporting GoDaddy to do all this. If Government is doing all this do you think it is right for the consumers. NO!

I called ICANN today several times their people are very rude they do not answer their phones first of all and then they cut you and not let you say what you want to say. When I asked their rep to let me speak she did not stop she pissed me so finally I had to say listen you b***h. I don't want to talk to you transfer my call to the head of your company and she hung up on me and I kept on calling I had a another guy answer and he said Mr. Singh you are rude we don't want to talk to you.

Do you think I am rude regardless of what they have done and then they don't want to talk and if they want to talk they don't want to let to say anything besides this they want to take their frustration out at you and they hang up the phone at you.

TODAY this is not only with one company around the country that is doing this. Its the nature of all the large and medium size companies.

Where is the Government? Not even close to fix this, all they are interested in is VOTES every five years and they will do lot of promises but nothing else after that.

Why they don't want to get these companies because most of these politicians are share holders in these companies and some of them that are not share holders they friends and buddies from where they get the money from for election campaigns.

I want to stand out for the American consumers against all these frauds so that fair law act can be revised and put can be put together where it is equal and more related laws to this as well. I am looking for lawyers and consumers that want to support this project at no charge.

So that companies like ICANN and GoDaddy can be taught a lifetime lesson. This is not for only these to companies you can contact me via email: (((REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)))

Your complaint, while frustrating, is not GoDaddy's or ICANN's fault. The Domain registry system works like this: big regional registries (Including InterNIC/ICANN) are given the right to give others the privilege of distributing the domain names. If your registrar goes out of business while you have domains registered through them, it is that company's responsibility. This system is actually a written set of standards. It actually comes from the IETF, which is part of ISOC (the Internet Society). The reason that registerfly's systems were turned off is that their privilege to assign domains was revoked or they closed (if they close, they lose their ability to assign domains). It is a yearly fee to continue registration. If registerfly went out of business, no one would be paying the registration. Many customers just lose their domains altogether in this situation. You should consider yourself fortunate that another company was willing to just permit the domains to be reassigned to them. This is not a benefit often offered to customers of failed or closed businesses. It is also not ICANN's responsibility. No one there should have promised you could transfer them wherever you wanted, since it is the registrars like GoDaddy who decide the actual domain registration. ICANN is a registry of registrars, they don't directly register domains. My advice is to start the service with GoDaddy and carefully select the company you wish to transfer them to, and then just transfer them. The alternative is to potentially lose them altogether.
