After I wrote this review, I decided to go to BBB and file a complaint against Reliant. Reliant has an A+ rating with the BBB, but the majority of the 300+ complaints that have been filed within the last 12 months had been solved to the satisfaction of the consumer.
I filed the compaint on 8/13 and about two weeks later I received a call from Reliants "escalated" department. She stated that the fee could be either credited to my account or a check could be cut, whichever I would prefer but a check would take longer. The rep on the line made no comment as to why they FINALLY decided to refund the fee, or made any apology for the inconvienience...but never the less, I finally got my money back :)
