The Fair Housing Act covers many discriminating factors, but sexual orientation isn't one of them (yet). I would suggest you demand to speak with the agent's designated broker and tell him or her what happened -- all agents work for a designated broker -- and the agent's action took money out of the broker's pocketbook. Don't settle for the office broker or whomever -- ask for the DESIGNATED broker. Also check if Georgia state laws are stricter in terms of sexual orientation discrimination, although I doubt it.
