I am owed a refund on an insurance policy that I did not know I had been charged $1306 for. Refund is $800 and Republic is keeping my refund. Loan 1 in 2016 found Republic through a mail solicitation. A loan granted to me based on my creditworthiness I was told by the employee who initiated the loan. Loan 2 and Loan 3 in 2017 loan # 7074/62174 were amounts added to loan 1 from 2016. How, Republic habitually sends skip a month, calls, emails, sends mailers, etc. At no time was I given a copy of my signed documents only blanks rolled up strategically in a wad in an envelope. At no time was I informed that there was any insurance policy issued against items listed on paperwork that I found. The employee asked what kind of household items I have and she herself said: " Jewelry? TV's?" I had no idea she was selling me insurance nor why she was asking such an obscure question.

Insurance paperwork was purposely and skillfully hidden in multiple copies of Auto Club Membership forms the insurance policy added in the amount of $1306.61 and rolled in the pages and gleaned over by the employee covering the page with another page. Telling me that there is no credit life insurance. Upon calling for clarification, Lyndon Southern Insurance Co. 800-888-2738 policy# 7074/62174 to find out what is this insurance. The insurance representative said it shows coverages for 14kt gold earrings, 2 1/2 channel set ring in 2016 then in 2017 2 TV's were added. (It should have only been 1 TV a Sony DLP TV not 2 TV's when asked in 2017). In the amount of $12870.00 it shows there is dual interest coverage, extended coverage, closed ended property coverage form. Further, the representative said that the policy should not have been issued without proper up-front documentation appraisals, photographs, receipts/ dates of purchase, etc. The insurance representative also calculated that there is a refund owed to me of approximately $800 to cancel this policy that I did not authorize or want.

The insurance representative said that the approximate $800 would go back to Republic and not to me but towards the loan balance. I asked her would I have had coverage to repair the Sony DLP TV 2005 year of purchase. (Goodwill would not take the TV they do not take DLP TV's and I had to pay the junk guy $65 to haul it away). The representative said without it having been properly documented at the inception of the policy no claims would have been paid if they were even able to repair the TV. Way to go Republic! The insurance representative told me to call Republic to get the claim form and the refund form faxed to me immediately. See attached claim form and refund form, the insurance representative explained to me that there is to be photographic evidence, police reports, appraisals, serial numbers, model numbers, receipts of the items listed in order to perform any claims or services on this policy or even issuing the policy! I at no time possessed the alleged ring, earrings or Samsung Smart TV's. I wear costume jewelry and I will NEVER own diamonds I will not support that industry!
