 Contacted and made reservations via phone. Thought i was dealing with actual hotel and did not realize this was a third-party. Quoted me two rates but the final total did not add up. Was told I would receive an e-mail receipt of transaction. Contacted reservations.com three times and requested a receipt for my purchase. Got the run around saying system was being updated and they could not access my reservation. Then told I would have to wait 72 hours to receive it. should have cancelled reservations right then but did not know I got taken on fees and probably paid an extra $50 per room. Arrived at our hotel - South Padre Island Inn and requested a copy of the charges and the hotel refused to provide a copy because they had an agreement with Expedia and reservations.com. Very deseptive business practices. I will never use Expedia or reservations.com again. Total rip off.
