On 11/12/08 I ordered a 30 day supply of Resveratrol Health Supplement.

The agreement was I only pay $6.95 for shipping and handeling charges and if I decided to keep the product I would be charged an additional $29.95 in 30 days from the original date of order. Today I received notice from my bank that "my Check Card was used outside the United States" There were two charges on for $29.95 (which I agreed to), and another charge for $89.94.

When I call the bank I was told that the charges were from Resmedin. Since the charges were still pending I couldn't do anything, but once the amounts were deducted from my account I could file a dispute. I did call the company but got a recording; I did leave a message that they were not authorized to charge me the $89.95 and not to present the charge for payment. I also E-mailed them with the same request, I told them that I had agreeded to the $29.95 but not the $89.95 and this is what they replied back to me:

You also agree to be enrolled at no charge in the Resmedin Continuity Club program where you will receive an additional 90 day supply of Resmedin every 3 months for the low cost of only $79.99 plus $9.95 shipping and handling (a savings of over $20.00) for the same number of persons as your initial order. The appropriate amount will automatically be billed to your credit card, so no additional action on your part is required. Checking no on this option does not affect the deferred payment or membership in the Continuity Club. There is no minimum number of months to buy and you may cancel or modify your subscription at any time in advance of shipment by using our online contact form.

This page is the first one every customer sees when placing an order and is in large, easy to read print. It is there to assure there is never any misunderstanding. Of course, the offer details are also linked to on every page of our website. Most people read the offer details before placing their order. We are sorry if you did not want more Resmedin, but if you did not want to receive more you needed to contact us before your Continuity Club order was processed. No cancellation was received, so your Continuity Club order was processed as specified at the time you placed your initial order.

I did go back and double check the website and there is not mention of the additional charges...so I've been ripped off by these people! Buyer beware of Resmedin Nutraceuticals as they are a rip off company!

This customer signed up for quarterly shipments of 3 bottles of Resmedin. At that time the customer was advised, in writing and in advance, that because it is a consumable item and subject to improper storage, tampering, etc. once shipped, orders were non-returnable. We cancelled future shipments immediately when she requested we do so, but she was upset that we could not allow her to return her previous order. We deal with the largest US credit card processing company exclusively, so her assertion that we used an overseas bank is not true either. We offer the finest product on the market and go out of our way to provide good customer service, but obviously it is impossible to please everyone. We are sorry that this customer would not accept responsibility for her own actions and decisions, and instead decided to blame us for doing only what we promised to do.
