Resurgant Capital LP Very disrespectful and abusive company. Speaks to me terrible and will not call me back for weeks. lost deed to land and title to Freightliner/never re assigned loan. Ripoff Waynesville South Carolina
My Loan Account was orginal from First Family in 1999. It was sold to Citi Financial in 2000. In 2000 I went into Bankrupcty and added Citi as one to be paid through the Court. After 2 years of thinking I was paying it, I found that they never filed.
I contacted my attorney and he wrote the co. asking them to file. Then I called the co. and from then for 4 years no one, no branch of that company could find my account.
They had a lien on my land and had my deed and my title to my frieghtliner.
I called and called and wrote snf faxed trying to find my account. Finally I made someone mad and they helped me.
The day I found the account, I was pull through to the Supervisor voice mail. I left a message asking that she return my call so that I could make arrangements to pay them off and get my title and deed.
No return call. I called the next day and no return call. The third day I spoke to a Customer Service person to find that the second day that I called, my account had been sold to Resurgant Capital LP.
I called Resurgant that day and was told they did have my account and would be glad to help me. Yea right. When i ask about my title and deed. They as good as called me a lier. Saying they didn't have it.
Then I explain about the bankrupcty and Citi not filing. Again he as good as called me a lier. Saying that I got the loan in 2004. I told him again this loan was taken out in 1999.
From there it has been Hell. I then went to the Manager and was talked down to and yelled at and talked over and told that they had no paperwork and was not looking for it any longer.
I was offered a settlement in the account of 3800.00. The orginal amount was 5400.00. I told him I would take it if he would at least re a sign their company to it so that the court record showed Resurgant on it.
Again he said no, he didn;t have to do that. He told me I could take it or pay the entire total. Then after that I started recieving monthly statements wanted me to pay over 200.00 a month plus interest.
I called again and again and the Manager will not return a call back to me.
This Company should not have the right to speak or treat anyone in the manner that they have me. I need help dealing with them.
