Rhino Custom Homes LLC Mark Southwick, Sofia & Stefanos Homes, Inc, , Cape Coral home renovations have not finished kitchen remodel Cape Coral Florida
He started our kitchen on 8/11/2017 and he stated it would take a week and a half to two weeks, we have a galley kitchen so it would not take long. He brought in this electrician that was out of work to start tearing our kitchen apart, without putting up any plastic to keep the dust down, my house was filled with dust and my poor animals could not take it. Alot of the first part of the reno was on schedule, but after the cabinets and counter tops were put in, he was alot of a no show, no return phone calls or texts. Finally he sent someone else over, who also was not licensed, to finish what he did not finish and this person found a few other things wrong. (counter tops not sealed down, drawers and doors needed to be aligned, dishwasher falls forward). He said he would let the contractor know. At that point we cancelled the last check from the bank. This unlicensed person showed back up to finish and I was not home, but told my dad it was a felony to cancel a check to a business, so my dad who is 80yo rewrote the check without me knowing. Now no one will return calls or texts. I reported this contractor to the BBB and thru the City of Cape Coral license dept. We have a signed contract that last payment would be received when all work is done, but he strong armed an old man to get his money and not show up.
