Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have bought a Richard Fuller Home in Fort Worth,TX.

It has been the most miserable decision in my entire life.

We have been very patient to get alot of items fixed and alot of promises are always made but either no follow through or the

appointment is cancelled or no one ever shows.

Parkway at Park Glenn has several home owners that have not been happy. Please make sure all your items are fixed before you close because once they have your money you will not see them.

A Richard Fuller Homeowner on our block has had major problems and still is.

Do like we have done. Put money in escrow at closing, if you need items fixed, then they get their money when you get your

house fixed correctly.

Come out and ask about our homes. It is not a pleasant conversation.

I live in the parkway at Park Glenn division of Fort Worth and I have a great home location and a wonderful floor plan and we really liked our professional young saleman Scott Evans and New Castle Mortage was great too, but our house quality has been absolutely horrible. The president himself, John Zunker, stated "he had never been so embarrased by a Richard Fuller Homes since he became employed with them!", when he came to our house to see our horrible quality workmanship. We have had major issues and it has been a year and we still have some. Denny, was in our subdivison for awhile, and he was great! I guess that is why he no longer works for them. Did you know that? I was told not by choice!!! As far as not going about these issues in a professional way. When you keep getting promises broken and you have appointments with the builder and warranty people so you take off work and no one shows or calls you. When you have water damage that is let go for so long that it turns into mold and you have to involve the city. WHICH HAS DOCUMENTED ALL OF OUR CITATIONS AND HAS PICTURES.... and the president of Richard Fuller Homes for Texas and Oklahome comes to your house and makes promises that don't happen for months and months. It is very difficult to appreciate your dream home builder and anyone involved with Richard Fuller Homes.

Rebuttal:
Mrs. Burleson,

You are very fortunate to experience the home building process the way in which you did. I know Denny and he is a great District Manager... an honest hard working individual. In fact, Denny came to Fort Worth for about a week, saw the mess and then decided to work in Mansfield for a while, I guess that he now calls Burleson his home. I talked with Denny extensively on the phone and he apologized left and right for the poor treatment that his company had shown towards my family and I.
Unfortunately his words never turned into action and the end results is less than acceptable. No one on this site wishes harm or ill will towards Fuller or his enterprise. We are all just seeking justification and correction on our issues. You reported the ideal building and warranty process. We all wish that we could share the same. I am still suffering through a flooded yard months after closing and months after the president
PROMISED that it would be taken care of. Maybe one day, I too can sit back and gleam from ear to ear about how everything is working correctly and how my yard is not flooded. Until that time we have limit resources to expel and we choose to let any "future home buyers" aware of the possible pit falls associates with building a home through Richard Fuller's
organization.

Thanks

Their relationship to the company: Devotee

Rebuttal:
I am a current Richard Fuller Homes homeowner in the Castle Hills
Subdivision in Burleson, Texas. I own a 2427 square foot plan that was built about 4 months ago. Kay Crow was our sales lady and was the most professional woman that we have met in a new home sales capacity in a long time. We learned that she has her real estate liscense and came from an honorable and dignified background. At the mature and respectable age of 60, she was the most tender, caring, understanding, and professional sales
lady we will probably ever meet. Thank you Kay Crow 817-426-4126 if you want to talk to a wonderful salesperson and are interested in buying a new home.

When we first came across Castle Hills Estates we were captivated by the elegant Fuller Homes and the varying floorplans. The Fuller Homes were the largest and nicest of all the builders in Burleson. Other quality builders included DR Horton and David Weekley. But we instantly fell in love with Richard Fuller Homes. We got our loan approved through their
lender New Castle Mortgage (also a professional lady in charge Gayle and Cindy) and were even given $7,000 in allowances to use at our disposal!

Throughout the construction process we met with the builder Denny on several occasions, walked the house and had any questions or concerns answered. As with any purchase their were concerns but they were quickly and professionally remedied. As the closing time drew near we were tremedously excited and looked forward to moving into our house. We went to closing at Fidelity National Title Company in Crowley,Texas and had a
smooth and professional closing(many thanks to Nancy and the other ladies!)We then drove the 5 minutes back to the subdivision where we picked up our keys from Kay Crow, our warranty book, and went to the new home where she walked us through the workings of the appliances, a.c., heat, thermostats, sprinkler systems, and the such. As the months rolled by we began to appreciate our decision even more. Since then another builder has moved into the subdivision but it appears Richard Fuller Homes is outselling them 2-1 with the number of houses they have under construction. Back to the house. We have had some minor warranty work done on the house. We had some small lines repaired that were nothing more than
settlement lines between pieces of sheetrock and were easily fixed by Mr. Mark Harvison (Warranty Rep.) We also had a couple of gaps under our fence filled but nothing major has happened to the house. Why I cant deny the fact that these other people may, I say MAY, have had serious issues, I feel that they may have not gone about it in the most professional way and are thus paying the penality now. How did I learn about this site.... One
of the contractors told me about it. I am not looking to discredit all the negative reports but merely letting this company know of a satisfied Richard Fuller Homeowner. I am a real homeowner living in their Burleson, Texas subdivision named Castle Hills. I prefer not to give out my phone number at this time. Thank You. I am a FIRM SUPPORTER OF RICHARD FULLER

Sure you may have gotten lucky, in more than one way ..but I doubt it. You should be ashamed of yourself. You know dam well there are many legitimate Fuller complaints.. Who are you in bed with? If not your either stupid or naive.

Richard Fuller Home Makes False Promises with No action (#5473)

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report:

Their email: [email protected]
Their name: Cindy S.
Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion

Rebuttal:
It seems this builder has quite a few unhappy customers, even as small as he is, compared to the giants like Pulte. A search for Richard Fuller Homes on the internet or of public records and news articles turns up a disproportionatley large number of complaints for such a small builder.

And that'd just be the tip of the iceberg; many dissatisfied homebuyers give up this extremely frustrating, time consuming battle, leaving no record of their complaint to be found. Good luck with your case!
