Richie Brothers Auctioneers Rip off, Lie, Cheat, Incompetent, Internet
I recently purchased a Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 diesel from these crooks to upgrade my palm tree business. I stupidly believed their "Detail Information Section" about the truck. They claimed they checked the transmission fluid, cooling fluid, and oil as well as other info about the vehicle.
First off, when I arrived in Kansas City to pick up the truck, the woman at the front desk put the wrong year on the title. After driving back and forth from the DMV to their office to get a sign affidavit of their mistake, I was greeted with the woman laughing in my face about her own inability to perform this simple task that is their BUSINESS!
As I started on my journey home about 100 miles from Kansas City, BANG motor blows.. and now my Richie Brother nightmare begins (nice Chistmas present for me). I get the truck towed to a local diesel mechanic who informs me the oil has not been checked. There is no oil, there is no leaks. The oil does not just disappear.
So after being stuck in Warrenton, MO for 3 days, I get a ride to St. Louis where I catch a flight home. Several weeks pass being given the run around by a crafty, lying front woman named Carla. I finally get through to her chief name Jeff who also gives me the run around some more. Furthermore, Jeff swears up and down the oil was checked..Impossible..
Long story short, I'm out 16K plus expenses, lawyer fees, stress, ect. Richie Brothers' moral is beware of any "Detailed Information" about the truck/equipment because nothing was checked , do not expect any customer service or concern for their mistakes and they obviously cannot perform the simple tasks that is their BUSINESS.
