Rod Rieman, a nationally known con artist and dealer of financial Ponzi scams and phony Healthcare plans, is a member of this church.

After scamming over 150 families and senior citizens at Community Christian Church in Naperville, IL, Rod Rieman picked up his camp and moved to St.Charles, IL and joined Riverside Community Church with the intention of selling risky financial scams and medical insurance to a new congregation of unsuspecting people.

For more info on Rod Rieman search his name in Rip-off Report, google search his name (Rod Rieman) or go to an active forum discussing his legal problems with the state of Illinois, his Civil Suit for $1.4 million dollars he has to pay, and his bankruptcy petition claiming $3.5 million in debts. This can be found at innovative financial scams. This is a dot com.

Rod Rieman is currently being investigated by the State Of Illinois and the FBI for financial scamming.

Rod Rieman has been banned from selling securities in the state of Illinois, yet he continues to get around this ban by operating a company with his friend Craig Hufford called Emerging Growth Ventures. Rieman and Hufford are running this scam to generate money for the Ponzi scams they illegally represent.

Rod Rieman is also a salesman and stock holder in a Healthcare scam called CHBA Consumer Health Benefits Association. Search in rip-off Reports for details.

This is a warning to the congregation at Riverside Community Church St.Charles about Rod Rieman "Financial Advisor". A victim's story as posted here on Rip-off Report: After meeting Bryan Rieman, son of Rod Rieman in a local Chamber of Commerce group, we were invited to invest in ZTouch Systems and Odies. Rod Rieman convinced us to take out a home equity loan in the amount of $150,000 to invest in this scheme. We asked for and received references of local investors. We also felt comfortable that the Bank of Onaga (Kansas) was the custodian for the ZTouch Systems IRA. At that time the ZTouch Odie plan was returning 13% to 16% according to all the references we contacted. Rod Rieman offered to increase our rate of return to 18% by not taking his commission, in return for a personal bridge loan that I gave him. He repaid the loan and we received checks at 18% interest for a period of a year or so. During this period we had confidence in his advice and we invested another $75,000 as a short term loan to Innovative Financial at 9.5%. We even encouraged other family members to invest in ZTouch and a new venture, doing business as Bluko, which is managed by the former ZTouch President, Michael Crook, and his associates, Lyann Nguyen and Eva Marlink. Michael Crook and associates gave a presentation to a large group of local investors in Naperville, Illinois, which further convinced us to recommend Bluko to our relatives. Within two days after suggesting to Rod Rieman that our relatives might be interested, both he and his son were in Florida knocking on their door. Several months after the checks stopped, we received a call from the FBI and Illinois securities investigators. Michael Crook and Rod Rieman were being investigated for fraud. Initially we were assured by Rod Rieman that our ZTouch and Bluko funds were safe and payments would resume soon, including the overdue amounts. He told us the investigation was due to funds being taken from one account and used to pay debts on another account, but Michael Crook was cooperating with the authorities and would reimburse the misappropriated funds quickly. We were assured many times (both verbally and by email) by Rod Rieman and individuals at Michael Crook's office that our funds were safe and payments would be made up. About the time that the Court ordered Michael Crook and Rod Rieman to cease and desist in Illinois, the office in Las Vegas began to distance themselves from ZTouch, claiming no affiliation. They have repeatedly said that Crook has nothing to do with ZTouch despite court documents which show Crook as the President of ZTouch. They continue operations as Bluko but despite assurances that our relative's Bluko investments would be refunded, it does not appear they will do so without legal action.
