This is the second report on this guy. This time he was selling a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
Of course deal was too good to be true, so I did my homework. Sure enough, he was caught earlier doing the same thing. He even answers his e-mails if you have any questions. The odd thing about all this is that he somehow got a banner on Yahoo Mail about his auto's. It is at the very top of e-mails on Yahoo and is definitely Yahoo Sponsored. I called Mike Lee at Yahoo Customer Service and apparently they have taken them down. Yesterday I saw same guy trying to sell a 2001 Silverado.
Once you "Win" on eBay the ad comes down, but no message to your account. Ad goes back up a few hours later. I am sure this guy and his people have cost people a lot of money.
The final Red Flag during transaction is this: you get an e-mail from Chris at "eBay Customer Service" asking you to do a Bank Transfer of a $700 down payment to a Mr Cruz in Los Cerritos, and asks you for all of you account info........account number, routing number, etc.
Stay away.
