Romweber Furniture - Marshall Fields Home Store Required to put 25% down by Fields, Romweber unable/unwilling to produce item ordered. Batesville Indiana
Placed order through Marshall Fields Home Store on 12/6/03 for Romweber's Donegal Console table. We were required to put 25% downpayment on order ($300) to be ready within one month. Have not received item after 5 months.
Marshall Fields has been unable to provide valuable information as to reasons for the delay. They have indicated on at least 3 occasions that our table would be shipping on a specific date. Those dates have passed without our item being shipped.
Romweber has responded to my emails with lame excuses as to why this table has not yet been delivered. They do not appear to take my inquiries seriously. They have stated that my item is currently listed as being in inventory at the warehouse but cannot be located. They have also indicated that the item might be ready in June if I care to continue waiting. They might just be completely incompetent.
