I feel so bad for you Peggy..I just wish I would of read your story about Ms. Rosie Diaz-Mejico before I hired her myself. I too have lost money and the trust of the courts for the false documents(fee waiver) she filed for my husband. She's a joke and preys on people who will not stand up to her because they think they have no rights when it comes to a paralegal. I asked for a refund, she looked at me and said, she doesn't give money back. I think that was more than fair to ask for the damages she caused us..I didn't ask for the money paid to her for the services.. only the money it cost me for her errors. She looked at me like I was crazy to ask for it back..I was fair to just ask for the damages..she was unprofessional not to want to work it out and let a customer leave her office with damages she cost us. I see its not about helping people like she claims..its about taking advantage of the people in need of legal advice who can't afford a lawyer. Thanks Rosie.

It was four months since I last spoke with Rosie Diaz-Mejico, Paralegal for Proper Paralegal Services in San Bernardino, California. I decided to call her in hopes that we could reconcile our differences. She was concerned over the fact that my granddaughter was no longer with me. She was sympathetic to my feelings of despair and sadness. Likewise, Rosie made a few suggestions in an attempt to help me in my dilemma. First of all, she asked to see the court detention report submitted by CPS Case Worker, Tanya Milbourne. I also gave her a copy of the affidavit which I attempted to file with the Superior Court, Juvenile Division, County of Riverside. Reading over the documents Rosie could anticipate that I would need to go before a judge in order to establish Grandparent's Rights. Rosie offered to type the necessary paperwork needed in fighting for Grandparent's Rights. She called me today. The court papers are typed and ready for my signature. I am grateful in having her on my side. A constructive solution, in most cases, is possible.

Is your complaint against CPS or the paralegal? Inno way should any paralegal file any type of paperwork without an attorney's signature. Your post started as a rant against a paralegal agency and now has morphed into a rant against a state agency. It's confusing, and it's also unlikely we can offer any suggestions until you focus.

Today I hand delivered copies of "The Affidavit of Peggy . . ." Ms. Tanya Milbourne of CPS, County of Riverside, violated my constitutional rights in that she entered my home. During her visit of October 6, 2006, she interviewed me, and, her questions/my answers became her case (against me, although at the time I didn't realize the reason for her visit). Indiana was swept up and driven away in the large county van. The hearing on October 12, 2006, was about Ms. Tanya Milbourne and her court detention report. I was surprised to read the allegations; twisted, falsified, fabricated distortions of my moral character as well as that of my granddaughters. Indiana was released from court custody and into the custody of her father, my son, on November 16, 2006. I can visit with her--but a supervised visit only. Why am I so angry? Because for 19 months I alone have provided for her every need. She arrived from Arizona to California, in March 2005, a frightened child who knew not how to love, play, socialize, share. Nor the joyfulness of friendships and the joys of being kind and considerate to others. The CPS Worker, Tanya Milbourne said that she felt bad in removing a child who "seems so confident, friendly, and secure." Clearly these are allegations from a bogus report (reporter). Just the same, "Who ever said that life was fair!" My only retaliation is in my Affidavit. I formatted the "Affidavit of Peggy . . . ." which I got from the website www.americanfamilyrights.com I had the affidavit notorized, made several copies and served the papers -- The Courts, to CPS, Co. of Riverside, Tanya Milbourne, CPS, Director of Riverside County, the Riverside Police Department, and whomever else feels that it is their business. I also typed a certificate of service which is attached to all copies served. This is my gladiator in years to come. One must VOICE what they feel and what is right!

This evening as I read over the file report which I have disclosed, the file I submitted was linked with CPS, County of Riverside, California. Although my initial complaint was with Ms Rosie Diaz-Mejico Paralegal -- the link betweem CPS, County of Riverside and one careless Paralegal who "Tossed to and Fro"-- important papers which could have saved my granddaughter from the causality in being at the hands of our corrupt government agency, Child Protective Services, (they build a case against the care-giver, me, grandma) but who oversees the CPS Case Worker and the Foster Parent -- "Grandma loves me. But what's up with the stranger who abruptly gathered me in her (black hands) and took me away to this foreign place and leave me there." Oh my God, help me. I do wish that I hadn't gone to the Website, Child Protective Services, County of Riverside! Kids abducted, kids missing, kids adopted out, kids hurt, and some kids are dead. Due to an agency in our system which is there to protect, the child that is. Reading about what really goes on when a child is taken from its mom, dad, grandparent, whatever, makes my hair stand on end! I have grieved, cried, screamed, and cursed the system for seventeen days now. Look for yourself, CPS, County of Riverside, California. Seventeen days ago they took away the true love of my life, I love you Indiana!

In such a matter as filing papers, contact the local Legal Aid Society and see what they can do. Alos, find out which attorney Proper Paralegal uses. Almost all paperwork for the court has to be signed by an attorney.
