ROYAL CAMERA Thecamerassource Beware! Low Prices for products in CHINESE!! NOT AMERICAN Internet
I cannot believe a company online is still on with the scams that this company pulls. I was going to order the Nikon Coolpix 8700 for $305. What a deal!! I knew shipping was $59.99 for regular UPS ground (which was a bit high but ok). I placed my order online..and waited for a callback confirmation.
The next day they called..and verified my order. They asked me if I would be interested in buying the American version that comes with all accessories/warranties. This caught my attention.. I said.. "as opposed to what..?"... the guy said well the camera you have ordered is in Chinese. The mode buttons, LCD, everything. I said how can you sell a Chinese camera and not state it on the ad.
At this point the rep got VERY VERY defensive and stated that is why they don't sell any of them because they are in Chinese. He then proceeded to PUSH me to buy the american version with accessories. I said I can find it cheaper if I was interesed in the American Version. Boy this made him very angry, stating I was full of it and I would not find it cheaper. I immediately told him to cancel my order, because I was not ordering from a fraudulent company that sold extremely misleading products.
This company is also known as CAMERAS SOURCE - thecamerassource.com/.. they are the same company. PLEASE BEWARE!! They are a scam artist!!
