A few months ago, my grandmother gave me a set of Royal Prestige cookware. She loved her set but I thought it was ridiculous to spend so much on just a few pots and pans.
At first I thought it was a rip off, they burned my food and were impossible to scrub clean. I was about to give up on them when I was given some simple advice on how to heat them, and what kind of soap to use. Now I've fallen in love with them. They are particularly good at cooking meats and vegetibles.
I think too many people are jumping to blame the company when really they have buyer's remorse or just plain don't know how to use the product.
People complain about "being forced" into buying this product by the "pushy salesperson", and I'm sure in some cases the sales person is way out of line. But it's up to the customer to say NO! It's up to the customer to know if they can afford the product or not. Stick up for yourselves! Nobody can "force" you to buy anything! Anybody who was ever bought a car has dealt with a pushy salesman, does that mean you blame the car? How about the car dealership? Should we blame them too?
And lastly, as for the scare tactics... I invite everyone who reads this to please to go internet search (whatever search engine you prefer) and search "the dangers of aluminum" or "dangers of teflon". Because quess what: there are tons of studies out there that show there is a real danger... and yes, even to birds!

All our cookware is Teflon and was purchased from WalMart, Target, SafeWay, or wherever we found something we like at a decent price.
I have a Cockatiel who turns 7 years old next month. One of her nicknames around here is 'the cookin bird', due to the fact she LOVES to sit on our shoulders as we are cooking food. She then shares it with us! If this company was telling the truth, she would have never made it past being 2 months old. From the day I got her, out of the nest, she has helped me in the kitchen as I cooked on Teflon.
As I type this my cockie and her mate are sitting on a nest. She laid her first egg today and in 3 weeks the babies should start to hatch. I'm sure they will also help me cook should they enjoy it as much as their momma does. I have NO fear of allowing this behavior. Their nest is also near the kitchen door and our apartment isn't all that large. I'm living proof this company is lying.
Please, people. Don't believe the scare tatics these salesmen are putting out. It's totally crazy and the cost of their cookware is so high, it's laughable.
