Hi Helen I will write this directly to you since you use this as a method of communication. First and foremost, I don't know how many times and how else I can say this, but my father does not have anything to do with the business. Secondly, my company, in which I am the president of owns the company vechicles and such, I own the rest of my items. Thirdly, we can go back and forth to blame, but reports show what caused the cracks and I have your own emails specifically stateing I would not have ever of known to dig deeper then the required building code depth which we did to avoid the horrible soil conditions in your area. Lastly, money went into your project. First you state you gave me 50k and ran... now its changed... Yes we had issues and we WILL resolve them.. I dont foresee any court action.. I will deal with Michael on this as I have been. Thanks Joe

RRS Contracting stands for Ricupero, Ricupero & Son Contracting. This is what we were led to believe when we hired this family business. The website and current advertising boast 45 years of experience - Joe is only in his early 30's. Salvatore is indeed a member of the business, he is the founding member. Salvatore confirmed this history to us when he plastered our bath/laundry. If this info is false, then we have been lied to. However, title search reveals all Joe's assets are in his father's name. We stand 100% behind all the statements made in the original report. All of our info is correct. "Running away with our money" is a polite term for theft. A pattern is developing that is of interest to the police and there is an RCMP investigation currently underway. RRS Contracting has failed to meet the last self-imposed deadline to settle out of court (one of many). For 1 year now we have patiently tried to reach a settlement, but we've had to deal with endless excuses and false promises similar to Joe's rebuttal statements - circular arguements that are intended to go nowhere. Our lawyer calls Joe a "game player". This is a prime example of what to expect when you hire this company. They take no responibilty for negligence, incompetence, and the guarantee isn't worth the paper it's written on. Joe's own engineers (the firm currently calling us to help track RRS down for a 1- year delinquent account) have stated that RRS Contracting's negligence caused the foundation to crack. RRS Contracting abandoned the job leaving the foundation unprotected over the winter. As an alert to everyone and especially suppliers looking for this guy, Joe's house 166 Water St., Uxbridge, On. L9P 1J1 is currently up for sale. So don't delay. Of course we expect prompt notification of Joe's new address since we all have a date in Superior Court later this year. RRS Contracting, cut the crap and do something right for once - give us back our money. The photos are evidence of the type of worthless work RRS Contracting is so proud of - a picture is worth a thousand words. There are no excuses. Note: We highly reccomend Neil McAvoy of Country Wide Enterprises, Glencairn Ontario, who came to our rescue and built a spectacular addition in a professional, honest and timely manner. This is what homeowners want and deserve for their hard earned money.

In regards to the report in Cookstown. Firstly, I am Joe Ricupero and the sole owner of RRS Contracting. The contract that we signed was taken and negotiated over a period of several months to a year. I, Joe Ricupero signed the contract with Michael & Helen. My father Sam was never in the picture, nor would he be. My father only assists me with his expertise in the business and had only worked and plastered the project possibly 2 or 3 times to assist me! Regardless of what might be said of the plaster and taping...I would be happy to put anything to the test on our plasterng expertise! Aside from the point though; My father has no influence or monetary interest in the business. I do not wish to get into details since I am dealing with this issue with Michael as we speak and have been for months on resolving this issue. I do want to clarify a few points on the remarks made since this is a public site. We signed a competitive contract for a nice project for the 1000 sq ft addition and some small interior work. We did NOT take a $50,000 deposit. The progressive payments were made as deposit, start, foundation etc etc totaling $46,000.00 Monies were put into the project in excavation, footings form, concrete, blocks, masonry trades, interior demolition, flooring, plumbing, electrical etc etc. This was all within 6 months. So there was no running involved. There were issues that arose within the project that were dealt with on an ongoing basis that some we resolved and some we were in the process of resolving and some we were having engineers involved in, soil and structure. We all knew the water table was excessivly high within your area and engineers reports states that weather , soil etc and such were contributing factors with the footings. Aside from the mishaps, RRS was there to work with the clients to correct the difficieancies and move forward. We were not given that opportunity and were blamed for the work from the start. RRS did not argue since it is the clients right to terminate. RRS handled its reports and left the site. I dont know anything about tools or wheelbarrel, but that fine..im not here to argue, but to explain and im sure we and the home owners will resolve this in due time. As for Uxbridge, I am entitled to have a home, mines in Uxbridge. Theres no tracking down. My numbers are all on file, my emails are always checked and I'm happy to hear anyones voice. In regards to payments. Please be advised that Michael and I agreed to split costs down the middle. This is a good faith gesture that RRS has decided on and more then what was asked for originally on termination. ALL the checks did not bounce, nor even deposited. I havent placed any stop payments on them neither. I asked for them not to be deposited and I would email transfer and or certify payments. It was and is appreciated You must remember money was put into the project. We are an extremly busy company. You only see negative remarks, but what about the hundreds of very happy clients.? Should I ask all of them to file reports. Would that help ease things and realize I am trying to work with you and were not going anywhere. To pay out funds for a project on materials are one thing because funds come in for the project. Then to pay out again from cash flow... thats extremly difficult. Considering how busy we are, we must complete projects to be able to pay out for other items. RRS did not accept blame for what happened, nor should it. Aside from passing blame, we are trying to work together to resolve this as fairly as possible for an unfortunate incident. I have met with Michael at his work just 3 weeks ago and found it surprising that this was written. I have offered for Helen to meet with me many times and the offer is open. I'm trying to work together to resolve an issue we started on together. Please call me or email me for any further questions just as Michael and I do. I'm happy to answer all your questions and RESOLVE this! Thank you Joe Ricupero RRS Contracting & Construction 416 283 9249 www.rrands.ca
