RUBIN & ROTHMAN EVEN THOUGH I WORKED OUT A MANAGABLE PAYMENT PLAN THEY PUT A JUDGEMENT AGAINST ME ISLANDIA New York
I stared recieving letters reguarding a debt owed from household auto finace years after i had volunterly surrendered my vehicle due to the fact that i had lost my job and home.It was later sen to rubin & rothman. I didn't understand why i owed all that money at all.
After numerious attempt to reach the company i continued to get the run around. No one would answer my questions, and they were very rude to me. I was hung up on numerious times. I tried to speak with a manager but was always told that she was not there.
I left numerious messages and never recieved phone call back. I stared making payments to this company but they want more money.
I told them that i was not able to send more than a hundred a month. they finally agreed. 3 months later i recieved a letter in the mail that a judgement was put against me due to the non payments. i have proof theat i pay them on time every month. i called them and again i got a nasty rude person who wouldn't explain why this was placed against me even though i pay on time every month. She just kept demanding more money. she told me that my bank account would be frozen if i didnt agree to pay more monthly. i was very scared.
i agreed to ten dollars more per month wich they werent happy with. i now pay 110 per month. i dont know what my balance is because they wont tll me how much more i owe. And i begged them to take the judgement off because i have never missed a payment, and they refused until the balance is paid in full.
this judgement is causing a lot of issues for me. I am reciently engaged and looking into purchasing a home with my future husband, and getting a new car. I am having alot of problems because of this company. Is there anything that can help me out?
