I have been a proud associate at Tupelo Sam's Club for two years in May. The title of the response 'Sams Club and Oscar Meyer poisoned me' is absolutely crazy. I cant speak for Oscar Meyer, but Sam's Club doesnt *poison* their members. We dont package the Oscar Meyer lunch meat that is for sale. I dont know who you talked to, but you should have talked to the general manager. The general manager of that time has since moved to a different club, and we have replaced him. If the meat was outdated, yes, that could have been our fault, but we pull about 99% of the items that expire early so we dont sell them. If a member tells us that it is expired, then we have to literally stop what we are doing and go pull the expired items and dispose of them. It sounds like there has been some miscommunication with you and Oscar Meyer. It absolutely couldnt be our fault, because our food safety standards are of the most high. If you got sick, it could have very well been food poisoning, but coming out and saying that Sam's Club *poisoned* you is just slander and down-right mean.
