The TV we bought from Samsung has a manufacture defect that
Samsung is now acknowledging and covering even out of warranty. Our TV died
after 20 months of use due to this defect. We called and got Samsung to get an
repairman from Hidefinition Electronics in Katy, TX . The repairman seem pretty
honest but the office worker who set the appointment was crooked and lie to us.
I have called Samsung and asked to speak to a supervisor
they said they would call me between 1-4 pm. They never called so I called
again and they said they were sorry that and that a supervisor would call me
back in an hour, they fail to call me again. They are probably embarrassed that
they have been caught using crooked people to do their repairs and they know it
too.
Samsung should be fixing these TVs before they go bad
because the defect could cause secondary damage to the components and Samsung
is not covering that they are cheating the consumer in this respect.
Samsung is not acting responsibly or honestly they are just
taking what for the moment seems to them to be the less expensive way to deal
with this problem instead of doing things the right way which would cost them
more in the short run but enhance and ultimately pay off in the future.
