Samsung Telecommunications Greg Crenshaw Has not provided free cell phone media software for Windows 7 customers Plano, Texas
Samsung Mobile currently offers free cell phone media software for their cell phones for Windows XP and Windows Vista computer operating systems so consumers could share files easily between their cell phones and computers. I like so many other countless consumers across the country bought a new Windows 7 desktop computer. I found out last December 2009 that Samsung offers no free media software download for the Windows 7 operating system. When I first contacted Samsung about this issue in January 2010 they had no idea when they would release the cell phone media software for Windows 7. I recently called again March 8th 2010. The technician still had no clue when they would release the cell phone media software for Windows 7. She was very condescending and not helpful at all. Unless the Samsung CEO was living in a cave for the last two years, everyone in the industry was aware that Microsoft was coming out with a new computer operating system for the last two years. There is no excuse for Samsung to be so lax with their software support.I cannot be the only consumer that is being effected by Samsung's poor treatment. I warned Samsung that if they cannot provide adequate customer service, they will lose customers. What irks me is not just that Samsung has no information about any new release dates, they have a careless and cavalier attitude toward their customers.I have tried with no success filing complaints with the BBB.org and local State Attorney Generals office. Pressure needs to be brought to Samsung to release the Windows 7 media software a.s.a.p with a formal apology.
