Complaint Review: Sand Star Productions LLC - Internet

 Just like the two of you I also was looking for part-time work something I could do from home, I was an experienced tarot reader, very sensitive intuitive I've been used by paranormal teams, been on radio ECT... I went through the application process I was hired immediately and begin working immediately. I really enjoyed the aspects of being able to create my own schedule work the hours that I could work not having to go into an office or be micromanaged. I quickly learned that was not the case with this company, in fact the fact that you are using their phone numbers, their clients are calling in, your logging into their back office and they are now dictating the number of hours that you must give them in fact you are essentially misclassified as a contractor when in fact they are treating you like an employee. One of the greatest problems that I had was that my numbers weren't low my numbers were actually very high, I had a very high number of repeat clients and I was told that my 25 hours a week was no longer enough and I was required to log in a minimum of 35 hours a week!! which as a single mother of disabled children trying to go to school I simply did not have the time to do, and I let them know I would not be able to comply with that and I was quickly locked out of all of my back office areas with no warning whatsoever. It's my suggestion for anyone who's looking to utilize any of their gifts special attributes their abilities to not work for one sun/ sand star Productions/ ask now just don't. they care more about their advertisers Revenue than they do about the work that you're doing if you think that you're working to help people with this company you are sadly mistaken they could care less whether or not you're helping anyone as long as you are racking up those minutes it's a very sad structure that they have going there it's one of the reasons why when they asked me to come back twice now I respectfully declined

  I, too, am a life-long psychic whose calling is to truly help people as well as to make a living. I applied to OneSun (I filed a report about them about 2 weeks ago) and was hired immediately, or so I was told. I, too, was interested in the schedule and flow of this line as advertised, as I am physically disabled and cannot handle a 40 hour per week work load, even if it IS just sitting by the phone waiting for it to ring.  But after I was hired, OneSun made me jump through an insane amount of hoops regarding paperwork and documentation (I was born and raised in this country), saying, 'We need to be sure you are a real person'.  Hunh?  You are speaking to me, you have way too much of my personal data, and still you want more?  So, like a fool, I provided all documentation. Then, I never heard from them again.  Ever. Not by phone, nor email, no matter how many times I tried to connect with them (Andy had already hired me, so I wasn't a prospective counselor just applying).
  At the same time, AskNow jumped on my application and has been 'dying' (or so it seems) to get me to work for them immediately. But, THEY have all the minimum hold times for call averages and arrange their pay scale so that only those psychics and counselors who get clients addicted to them and calling them back 3-4  times per week can make any money. Since I very much need to work, I got set up to begin with them, and then went into a state of intense spiritual paralysis and inability to get myself to begin with them. They want a style of reading that is NOT mine (I do work a bit, and when I tried AskNow's 'tried and true' method of reading for clients, my clients from my other employers HATED my readings all of a sudden). 
  I have worked for a number of psychic lines, but ONLY those that were run by people who are readers themselves and DO NOT make you con people to be on the phone. I am a psychic who encourages clients to engage their own psychic abilities and if a person starts to become dependent, I point it out to them. I give clients all the information they want and when we are done, we are done until the client feels it's time to call again.  Thus, people generally only call me a couple of times a year (as that is all they need) unless a serious crisis is going on.
  ANYWAYS, I cannot thank you enough.  You have confirmed for me the reason I can't get myself to work on AskNow.  It goes against my principles and integrity.
