My daughter started the MDS program at the Sanford Brown Campus in Tampa, Fl in July 2004 and from day one it has been a joke.
Lack of qualified instructors or no instructors. Faulty equipment and no supplies.
No student support and lies from day one. Of course the employee turn over has been tremendous. Never knew who your teacher would be or if you would even have one. If you had an instructor they hated their job and downgraded the institution.
Lies of accreditation and false hopes told to the students everyday.
Fortunately, my daughter withdrew in time for a refund. She kept holding out on false hopes that things would get better and I was praying for her to not exceed the 50% class time and be liable for the full 30k.

I suggest anyone who has had concerns or problems with this school in the past or who is currently enrolled and is unsure of what to do in your sitution to write to the above address.
Students need to write their complaints individually to this department in order for the department to take measures in making corrections at the institution. Individual complaints are viewed differently then a group complaint, even if we all have the same issues.
Also, any one interested might want to look up the ticker symbol CECO. Career Ed Corp has many schools by many names through out the country and other countries. The are under scrutiny in many states for various issues.

Rhonda: I also attended this school and was the first one to write a report on this site. I have complained to the Committee on Independent Education as well as a few other agencies all to no avail. These agencies really do not work in our behalf. They only side with the school. I had documented proof of my allegations and still they believed the schools lies. At present a former student is suing this particular location and from speaking the the attorney they are being served this month however they are looking for class action status so it may take awhile. You are right that CEC owns several other schools and from some of the reports on this site I can see that they to are not crediable schools and have some of the same problems Sanford Brown does. You were forunate to have withdrawn your daughter when you did so that you didn't lose your money, however; I was not so lucky and now owe thousands of dollars for an eduction I was not able to receive.
