Santa Barbara Bank & Trust Did not follow through with my refund. Santa Barbara, Solana Beach California
I filed my taxes per e-file on February 9th, 2008. Authorized Santa Barbara Bank & Trust to deposit my refund and agreed to the fee they charged. They informed me my deposit would be deposited on 2-22-08. They e-mailed me on that day to inform me that the IRS had not released my refund and it would be refunded 2-29-08 as they only process these on Friday's. I did call the IRS hot line and was informed that my refund was processed that day 2-29-08.
When I checked my account today, the 1st of March, the refund was not there. I tried contacting Santa Barbara Bank & Trust and got the run around, so to speak. Could not talk to anyone. I did e-mail the site they had indicated on their e-mail and informed them that they could cancel their refunding process if the refund was not in my account by 3-3-08.
I feel this company should be available to confer with me or anyone else and am frustrated by the length of time they impose on their refunding process.
